Traditionally this group has built up a successful track record in medium- high frequency equities trading. They are now in the position to diversify their trading interests leveraging their cutting edge technology platform, access to a wide range of exchanges and capital. You will be part of an elite group of 8 Quantitative Researchers who between them have attended the top tier technology and science institutions globally and possess a strong and successful track record as researchers both prior to their foray into quantitative research and at the current time. Despite their brilliance, this group operates a laid back and collegiate environment which is akin to the PhD environment at University/college. You will have the opportunity to bounce ideas off one another and use your expertise in Statistics, Computer Science, signal processing, game theory, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data mining, market microstructure theory, econometrics or time series analysis. In addition you will have strong object oriented programming skills in at least one of C++, Java or C# and will have the ability to program in Matlab, Python, perl or R. Successful candidates will have a PhD in the aforementioned areas such as Machine Learning, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence from a top tier University with strong GPA’s and ideally at least one years experience as a Quantitative Researcher within any asset class and frequency (although intraday trading/high frequency trading research experience is preferred).
