The Black-Litterman Model

Rate it... Rating Saved!
Description:
This survey paper discusses the Black-Litterman model from the point of view of an implementer. It provides basic background, a derivation of the formulas from Bayesian statistics and then details on implementing both the model as used in He-Litterman, 1999 and Idzorek, 2004. There is some discussion of the various sources (many linked to from quantcode) and indications of which references contain derivations of which equations. There is an appendix which includes the exact sequence of equations required to implement the Black-Litterman model.
