How do I start learning UNIX GTK on a Windows XP machine?
Requested and Answered by Vanna on 26-Apr-2009 21:33 (2296 reads)
1.Install cygwin by using the steps mentioned here - http://www.quantcode.com/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=64
2.Enter command startxwin.bat on the cygwin prompt.
3.This will open a new white colored and bigger window which again is a command prompt window.
4.Enter gtk-demo on the new window. This will open a new window, which will give a feel of how the GTK looks like.
