How can I get started with interactive brokers API? I googled for IB api, downloaded and ran the installer.
Now what? I have no clue, where it got installed. Looked at documentation files, there is no help to do a "Hello world" kind of program in C# or C++. Found some help page in http://www.interactivebrokers.com/php/apiUsersGuide/apiguide.htm for C++. It tells that I should link to TwsSocketClient.dll. Then looked at C:\IB_API_9_64\TestActiveXClient_VC in my PC thinking that it must have some demo C++ project, there is no .dsp or prject file. I am lost. Please help!!

Re: How can I get started with interactive brokers API? you will need 10000$ to run your hello world program. this is the minimum deposit amount they ask
